1. 3 Important Events
1.1 The Great Depression: This effective event begun in Tuesday, October 29th, 1929 and ended in 1941.
- The event when the Americans faced the problems of being depressed by such events below.
- The Farm or Land owner can’t own their land independently.
- The income during 1929 and 1932 was reduced by 40%, from $2,300 to be $1,500.
- This event caused major politic changes such as “The New Deal Collision” by Franklin Delano Roosevelt who was the 32nd president of U.S.A.
- At that time, 1 ounce of gold equal 20 dollars, as the circulating in economic depended on gold.

1.2 The WWII, the war against “Fascism”
- Started up since September 1, 1939 to September 2, 1945 in a purpose to stop Adolf Hitler from governing the whole Europe.
- Over 60 million people died in this war
- Allied Power: Soviet union, U.S.A., U.K., China and France
- Axis Power: Germany, Japan and Italy
- Allied Power and Axis Power fought against each other, one to stop Hitler and one to support Hitler.
- The Allied Power side won the war after the last defeat, the bomb at Japan, the Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
- This event made U.S.A. became the World leading military and economic power.

1.3 The “Sino-Japanese War” or the “China Incident”, the war between China and Japan
- The war occurred during 1937-1945 as the conflict of Japanese wanted to conquer Chinese’s Mainland.
- The bomb in “Perl Harbor” by the Japanese related the “Sino-Japanese War” with “The WWII”.
- China or “Allied Power” declared war on “Axis Power”, China launched a successful offensive to Japan and Japan surrendered in September 9th, 1945.
- China won the war and regained the “Cairo Declaration”, Manchuria, Taiwan and the Pescadores.

2.1 The 31st President of America during 1930: Herbert Hoover
- Born in an Iowa village in 1874
- He was the 31st President of Iowa, U.S.A. since March, 4 1929 to March 4, 1933 which in total, 4 years.

2.2 The 32nd President of America during 1933: Franklin Roosevelt
- He had been ranked as one of the 3 greatest presidents in U.S.A.
- His reign in New York started since March 4, 1933 and ended in April 12, 1945 or in total, 12 years
- He tried to reform the economy and bank systems of U.S.A. by using “The New Deal”.
- The first president who rode on the air-plane.

2.3 Amelia Earhart:
- She was born in July, 24 1897 and was died in January, 5 1939.
- She was the pioneer of flying since October 22, 1922; she had broken women's altitude record when she rose to 14,000 feet.
- Again, in June 17-18, 1928, she was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean.
- In May 20-21, 1932, she was the first woman who flew solo across the Atlantic Ocean in 14 hours and 56 minutes.
- Unfortunately, she was disappeared in
July 2nd, 1937 near Howland Island, Central Pacific Ocean.
- Later she was found death in January 5th 1939.

3. 2 Important Technological improvements
3.1 1930-1939 was considered as the “Golden Age of Radio.”
- Edwin H. Armstrong was an inventor of a radio during this decade.
- Radio was popular during 1939, as about 80% of popularity owned radios.
- People used radios to listen to the comedy jokes, news, public opinion, and etc.
- The most horrible news was reported by Herd Morrison on May 6th, 1937, the German Hindenburg airship was burst into small pieces before landing on Lakehurst, New Jersey.

3.2 The discovery of Pluto happened in this decade by a fortunate accident by Clyde W. Tombaugh, the American Astronomer in Arizona.
- As Clyde was given a job to observe about Planet X or Tran-Neptunian planet, he noticed the small moving object in his observation and it’s “Pluto.”
- Pluto was discovered by the time and date, Tuesday, February 18, 1930.

1. Famous Piece of Art
1.1 1930 Period was considered as “A Golden age of Hollywood” even though the films were black and white.
- This decade was the revolution of sound, color and film genre developments.
- There were many kinds of film genres, such as gangster films, musicals, newspaper-reporting films, historical biopic, social-realism films, lighthearted screwball comedies, westerns and horror.
- This period put an end to the “Silent Film”.

- 18-year-old Jean Harlow who performed in “Hell’s Angels(1930)” became a popular star in 1932 after signed the contract with MGM film.
- The production of “Hell’s Angels Film” cost about 3 million in 1930, which considered, a lot.

- On January 13th, 1930, the first Mickey Mouse comic stripe was published.
- The First “Mickey Mouse Book” was published by Bibo-Lang in 1930.
- In 1932, Academy Award was given to Walt Disney in an occasion of the best cartoon creator, Mickey Mouse.
- Mickey Mouse content was put in Britannica Encyclopedia in 1934.
- On February 23, 19, The First Mickey Mouse, “The Band Concert” cartoon in color version was broadcast.
